Versathix™ is a premium liquid rheology modifier and viscosity builder designed for surfactant-based personal care formulations. Description

Versathix™ is a 70% active liquid thickener formulated from PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, PPG-2 Hydroxyethyl Cocamide, and Water. It efficiently builds viscosity in both traditional sulfate-based and modern sulfate-free surfactant systems that are typically difficult to thicken.

Its advanced rheology technology provides a luxurious texture without compromising foam quantity or stability. Versathix™ is suitable for cold processing, performs well over a broad pH range, and exhibits excellent salt compatibility, making formulation easier and more consistent.

Croda technical data also demonstrates that Versathix™ can help reduce the irritation potential of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) at appropriate use levels while maintaining desirable cleansing performance.
