Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) is a mild, sulfate-free anionic surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids. It is widely used in premium cleansing formulations for its ability to create rich, creamy, and stable foam while remaining gentle on skin and scalp.
Commonly known as “baby foam” surfactant, SCI provides effective cleansing without stripping natural moisture, making it ideal for solid shampoos, facial cleansers, syndet bars, and mild body washes.
