Polyquaternium-7 (PQ-7) is a water-soluble cationic conditioning polymer used in both haircare and skincare cleansing systems. It improves softness, smoothness, and manageability while reducing static and enhancing slip.

In haircare, it conditions without heaviness or buildup.
In skincare cleansers, it enhances skin feel, reduces tightness after washing, and improves glide during application.

It is highly compatible with anionic surfactants, making it ideal for both sulfate-based and sulfate-free formulations.
